ABOUT
Han Cheung moved to Taipei in 2015 from frigid Wyoming, where he was the editor of the small town Rawlins Daily Times. Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and proficient in Spanish and Japanese, he has 15 years of reporting experience in the US, Latin America and Asia.
Han pens a weekly local history feature for the Taipei Times and covers a wide range of feature stories with an emphasis on cultural / linguistic preservation, human rights, curious local phenomena and offbeat travel experiences.
Han has published a history book, Legendary Locals of Rawlins, and is working on one about Taiwan. He also play bass guitar in several bands, including Deinovore.
